Specially fabricated for process controls of strong acid media such as hydrochloric acid, the diaphragm of flush mount pressure transmitter adopts tantalum material along with PTFE coating. The spray coated PTFE can establish the first line of defense against harsh medium by its decent chemical inertness. The coating can also withstand low to moderate particle erosion, protecting the surface diaphragm from scratching. Tantalum diaphragm serves as a structural substrate, providing mechanical strength and ensuring redundancy. It prevent coating failure caused by thermal or mechanical deformation and provide barrier support throughout long-term service.
