Sensing component of the rotameter mainly consists of conical measuring tube and float. A permanent magnet is embedded inside float, forming even and stable magnetic field when the float reaches equilibrium. Magnetic sensor outside the cone would capture data of float displacement which is related to flow force, then transmit the data to indicator. The reading is either simply displayed on scale or conditioned and outputted through 4~20mA current signal when the indicator is integrated with transmitter module.
